Unfortunately, while our elected leaders in Washington continue their partisan bickering, a real-life solution appears to be little more than a pipe dream.

I am calling upon my honorable fellow commissioners in the City of Miami and all elected officials in South Florida to put political differences aside and work together on genuine solutions for our community’s prosperity. This task will not be easy and tough decisions must be made. It is imperative to address our fiscal future, sooner rather than later, and be held accountable for our action or inaction. All politics is local
